How Korean zodiac compatibility works
The twelve animals are the earthly branches of saju. Some form a three-harmony group (삼합) that pulls the same way, some form quiet six-harmony pairs (육합), and some sit opposite each other (충) for lively contrast. These describe tendencies between two people, not a verdict — and the year animal is only one of eight characters in a chart.
