Day Master calculator

How it works

Saju reads four pillars — year, month, day and hour — each made of a heavenly stem and an earthly branch. The day stem is your Day Master: one of ten (Yang or Yin Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water). Day pillars repeat every 60 days, so about 1 in 60 people share yours.

This quick calculator uses your date only. The full reading also uses your birth time and birthplace, converted to true solar time, which can change the day for births near midnight.
